Here are just a few facts you might need to know...
  • For more efficient technical support, have your serial number for your system on hand. This number can be found on the back of the codec above the power switch or on the bottom of the codec. If you can not find your codec serial number you will need to have your TANDBERG order number from when you purchased the system. This number will start with either a B, US or 5.
  • The majority of people are doing other things while in meetings (only 23% pay full attention on audio, and 55% pay full attention in face-to-face meetings).
    RoperASW/TANDBERG International Survey
  • The survey found that 56% of business professionals estimate they waste more than 30 minutes a day using inefficient communication methods. In the U.S., that equates to an estimated $297 billion.
  • The two most important features of a videoconferencing system are ease-of-use and reliability. By trying to make a video call and using the remote control you can quickly get a feeling for which system you feel most comfortable using.
  • According to Frost and Sullivan, the [video communications] industry has penetrated less than 5% of potential users.
  • "In addition to richer connections between our global staff members, video enables us to more efficiently close complex acquisitions involving numerous internal and external people. And, we can more efficiently and seamlessly integrate entire new companies into the culture and enterprise — they quickly become part of the collaboration, training, and team work that our people are already conducting over video."

    VP, Global Corporate Technology Strategy
    GMAC Commercial Mortgage
  • The costs of transporting a TANDBERG client inmate for medical care versus delivering care via telemedicine: $670 versus $85.
